Supercar Challenge Silverstone videos

June 20th, 2009 by Neil @ 10:20pm

Just like Codemasters, System 3 appears to be celebrating this weekend’s British Grand Prix and has released some new videos of SuperCar Challenge in action. One of the videos is part of a series involving community members demonstrating the game, while the other features the voice of Tiff Needell, who has become synonymous with the series.

I thought System3 was no more. This looks horrific though, really muddy and bland. Another Tim Christian let down? :(

Not sure where you got that idea from Jack – they seem to be fine. They launched a new website recently at http://www.system3.com and it looks like everything is go for the SCC release, save for a few delays!

It’s probably unrealistic to expect a small developer like Eutechnyx to come up with visuals to rival Forza 3 or GT5P, but I don’t think that’s what this game is all about. If the on-track action is anything like Ferrari Challenge then it should be very good indeed. Just wish a few more people played online.

I love the fact that unlike the demo for Forza 3 or upcoming NFS:Shift (which I admit the first NFS since Porsche Unleashed that I’m looking forward to and will definitely buy), the guys at System 3 actually showed a video with someone who could actually drive. With Forza 3 and Shift, it’s a total crash-fest.
