Codemasters has today released the first in what it says will be a series of “developer diaries” for F1 2010. The movie features the first footage of the game in action and runs for about two minutes. There’s comment from senior members of the production and design teams as well as the revelation that Anthony Davidson will again be providing input on the driving mechanics. The former Super Aguri and Brawn GP driver played a key role in the development of last year’s game on Wii and PSP. Check out the video below:

After a few whispers and leaks, Atari today confirmed that Test Drive Unlimited 2 is in development for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.  The game is set in the Spanish island of Ibiza, in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. Early details are scarce, but Eden Games (developer of the first in the series) has returned to craft the sequel. The huge open world system returns and is touted as M.O.O.R. – Massively Open Online Racing. New race types, vehicles and challenges are promised. First screenshots:
